true happiness
It's a very unique kind of an experience and you don't get it every day. What is true happiness? Is it the feeling you get when you realize that you have a holiday, or have no work to do? Is it what you feel when someone gifts you something? Is it what you feel when you achieve something? Maybe. It varies according to what we have and what we want. Some want to be famous, to be popular. That shall make them happy. Some who are already famous and popular, might crave solitude; they might be wanting a break. That shall give them happiness. Being human, we can't stop wanting more. Our ideas of happiness vary a LOT.
Some people might get happiness by being rich. Meanwhile, some will just feel happy in the presence of loved ones. Or both. But what is true happiness? In my opinion, it is the feeling of wanting nothing more and being entirely content with the moment. In order to get two different perspectives, I asked bing about true happiness - True happiness is a state where one feels at peace inside, unconditionally loves themselves, and is able to love others unconditionally. That's what it told me and yeah, it's pretty accurate. But instead of unconditionally loving ourselves, I feel that we tend to appreciate our surroundings. Everything seems wonderfully perfect and overwhelming.

The picture above, is the definition of ultimate joy for me. To be surrounded by such beauty of the mountains (the Alps, in this case) and the freedom of the meadows with no one around, no one to interrupt is definitely my dream. I felt like writing this post because while I was looking at the pictures I took this year, when I was on a trek, all that I felt while taking those pictures came flooding back. It had felt surreal then and still does now.
The Olympic medal winners, we see them crying oh so many happy tears after their victory. Is that not true happiness?
People have written books on how to find true happiness and stuff like that. But it's not the same for everyone, is it? We feel happy every now and then and we feel upset every now and then too. There is no cure for feeling upset, for what would life be without challenges and setbacks? A very monotonous journey, that's what life would be. But when we do feel happy, we must enjoy the moment. That's what people should write more about. Instead of telling us how to find it, authors should tell us how to enjoy it. We had a poem in school, telling us how life's sunny hours flit by fast, and how we should enjoy them while they last. And that's completely true!!
It's crazy how quick our mood can change. If we are incredibly happy about something, only to have someone give us a sad news or hurt us. But that's just a dose of life for you. It can be extremely unexpected or very predictable. But we must enjoy it whenever we can.
The whole point of this blog post? Telling you that if you are happy, do not hesitate to enjoy the moment with all your heart. Try capturing it somehow, may it be taking a photo or a video, or simply writing it down. That way, when you come upon it later, it will be a lovely reminder for you, and perhaps you'll feel just as happy. It's not scientifically proven or anything, at least even if it is, I have no idea, but it's definitely proven by me. And I have no authority to say so. So just consider it proven from an entirely random person who is speaking (typing) wholeheartedly.
thank you soo much for reading till here!!!! i feel that i've suddenly started posting a lot this month, considering the fact that i last wrote in March and now i'm typing till my hands hurt in July!!
